Alaska Day 7

The trip back from Blue Mussel Cabin was definitely less eventful. No darkness, no bears, no freaky birds and we actually knew where we were going!!! We ended up shaving off almost 2 hours of our hike time.

Once in Juneau, we checked in to the Prospector Hotel which was AWESOME. Our room was like a small apartment, with a living room and it's own kitchen. After showering from the previous two days in the rain, there was the nastiest ring of black in our tub! I felt bad for the poor lady who had to clean it the next day. That night we celebrated Alex's 30th birthday at the local pizza parlor, Bullwinkles. I snuck out earlier and surprised him with a cake too :) It was a fun night of good drinks and arcade games.
