Alaska Day 3

Day 3: We stayed at Windfall Lake until the mid-afternoon. It was nice to just relax in such a beautiful place. The hike out was just as neat as the hike in. We were all amazed at how green everything was. That night, we caught a ferry to Sitka. It was an overnight ferry and we all rented these tiny rooms. They reminded me of lockers barely wide enough for a bunk bed and shower. It was one of those showers that were large enough to stand in but if you dropped anything, forget it! But oh how nice it was to take a hot shower after hiking in the rain and mud all day.
