College Graduation - May 2006

Alex and I graduated from college one day apart: Alex in communication from the U of U and me in Exercise Science from Utah State.
Alex is the first person in his family to graduate from college. I couldn't be more proud of him. It took a lot of work, including him living in SLC while I lived in Logan for 6 months while we were married for him to graduate.
Alex's younger but not smaller brother Nick.

Mamma Paula.

I graduated as the Valedictorian of my Department: Health, Physical Education and Recreation with a 4.o GPA! Why I didn't slack more in college, I will never know :)

Dr. Rick Gordon, one of my professors in my department. He also helped me with my mental game of tennis and he coached Mike Weir on his mental game too!

Whitesides Scholar Athlete Award Ceremony, 5/2006.
I was awarded the Whitesides Award for the graduating athlete with 4 letters and the highest GPA. It was a real honor. I had to give a speech in front of a ton of people and did great. I actually enjoy speaking in public - odd!

My parents and Alex's mom drove all the way to Logan to support me for this award.
