17 weeks: Ok I'll admit when I look at the picture from last week, it really isn't that big of a belly. But when I look down it seems huge to me. So weird. It is getting harder. I can't push anything back in and when I suck in it no longer looks any different :)
Yay for finally sleeping better! The first trimester was a doozy. I think I woke up every hour tossing and turning because my hips, shoulders, hands all hurt. Now just my hands go numb. But I have had pretty bad neuropathy the entire pregnancy. I had some issues before I got pregnant but it is way worse. My carpal tunnel is pretty intense. In the OR my hands go numb a few minutes after I put my gloves on. Bummer. Of course my right middle finger stays numb all day long too. Hope nothing is permanent. They keep telling me it will all get much better after I deliver but that is quite a ways away!!!
18 weeks: So the belly is officially a belly now. In the morning it is not too bad but by the evening I can rest my drink on it. I know what everyone says, it is still small but I can see it! I can still wear my normal clothes, not all of them but a lot of them.

I was thinking yesterday during surgery how I had been so tired in the first trimester that I would occasionally fall asleep during OR cases with Karen. Not a deep sleep but the kind from school where your head dips down slightly and then you jerk back up. I haven't had a big jerk of the head otherwise I think Karen might be a little pissed. It got better until yesterday it happened again! Didn't help that I worked from 8-6:30 Monday and then 7 to 7 yesterday. Still, can you imagine falling asleep while at work, sitting right across from your boss!!!
Today we took a peek at her today just to confirm she was still a girl - yep, no man junk. Whew, since we bought our stroller and bedding last week. She was stinkin cute, wiggling around. I can't feel her yet but hope soon I will. Her foot was 2.75 CM long!!

The car seat...
The stroller...these were Alex's big pick. He researched all different kinds and came up with these - Quinny brand on clearance!
Suka wanted to be a part of the pictures tonight. He has to have surgery on his leg tomorrow for a weird growth. They don't know what it is - bummer for him :(
Our bedding so far...love it!!!
The first present - from Amy and Jenny (the cute nurse at my dad's office). Thanks guys! She will be a doll next fall for the Ute games!
